2/3 Recap: Austin strikes; Ullmark stays hot

Brady Austin scored his fourth goal of the year Sunday as Belleville was hammered by Oshawa 8-2. Austin wrist shot was tipped by a Generals’ defender midway through the first period to give the Bulls a 1-0 lead. The Bulls return to work Friday at Kingston.

Linus Ullmark made 31 saves to guide MODO J20 to a 4-2 win over Djurgardens. Ullmark is a perfect 6-0 since SuperElite Top 10 play began in early January, backing his dominant record with a 1.49 GAA and .944 save%. Euro Hockey Tour action takes over for the next week and a half, giving Ullmark and Finnish sniper Joel Armia a break in play before entering the final stretch of regular season play.

Its good news Makarov and Ulmark can be the future in Buff. Cryan Miller is way overrated.
