Sam Reinhart scored his 12th goal and assisted on the overtime winner as Kootenay earned a 4-3 victory over Regina. The winning output gives Reinhart points in 10 straight contests.
Brycen Martin (-3) notched one assist as Saskatoon was bested by Swift Current 6-2. Martin elevated his game of late, producing seven points in his first eight games with the Blades.

Max Willman finished with a minus-one rating as Brown was defeated 5-3 by Quinnipiac. The struggling Bears have now lost eight of nine January games.
Sean Malone remained out of action due to injury as Harvard was defeated by Union 5-4.

Linus Ullmark stopped 32 of 33 shots but received no goal support as MODO was defeated by Orebro HK 1-0. Victor Olofsson finished with a minus-one rating. Gustav Possler missed a second straight game.

Brayden Irwin scored twice and Andrey Makarov made 27 saves as Rochester lost at Syracuse 6-4. Phil Varone and Evan Rankin provided singles for the Amerks. Jake McCabe, Dan Catenacci and Tim Schaller earned assists in the game. Mikhail Grigorenko was hit and left the game with an apparent lower body injury and did not return.

Justin Kea got into his fourth professional scrap as Elmira got past Fort Wayne 2-1. Colin Jacobs recorded two shots on goal for the Jackals.
