Weekend Schedule 10/10-10/12

With the CHL needle starting to wear a groove, the NCAA will turn it up a notch this weekend with a near-full slate of action.

Justin Jokinen will team up with Adam Mueller and Joe Schiller on an all-freshman line for Minnesota State when they open with a set against Bemidji.

Freshman Brad Eidsness will get the goaltending nod for North Dakota on Saturday in their IceBreaker match-up against Massachusetts. Sioux senior Aaron Walski has been tabbed for tonight’s opener versus Boston University.

    Off topic bakes, but I was interested to see that your pick for the Sabres first rounder this year, Sbisa made the opening day roster for the Flyers. I have to admit that I groaned when I heard that Philly got him after reading all the good stuff you said about him on here.

  2. Sbisa is definitely looking good. Quicker than expected perhaps, but it’s good to see even if it’s the Flyers that are enjoying his services.Of course, much of the conjecture when mocking pick #13 was done under the assumption that Myers would be long gone. Both teams got great players in the end, but a big part of me was convinced that Sbisa was the guy until Myers fell into their lap.
