its shocking to see how statistically mcnabb is only 5 goals behind kassian. I think its fair to say that we have an ambitious group.

though other teams have prospects in the 30 goal range, lets hope the intangibles of character and heart mold some kind of continuity in portland. mcnabb-kassian-Foligno with luke adam should be an exciting roster. I'd also be interested in seeing this Boychuk in person.

  3. The gap between Kassian and the rest should really be greater than five. Sure it may be more a reflection of the others and less of Kassian, but ZK was at one point averaging 1.92 p/g and has fallen quite a bit…Boychuk is fun to watch. Plays an in-your-face style, and likes to hit. His first two games back from the concussion were typical Boychuk games. On Saturday he absolutely flattened a guy with his head down. One of the better hits delivered by a Sabres prospect this season.

  4. dig the stats page, kris…interesting to note that the top-three are all at least 6'3″ and 216 lbs…marcus foligno has the same goals/game as kassian…am interested in the two kevins–devine and dineen…i think kevin devine has done an outstanding job with his amateur scouting…what does the future hold for him within the sabres organization?and i also think kevin dineen has done an outstanding job molding his portland pirates into a solid, tough-to-play-against team…any idea how long he's signed for?
