In the lone Tuesday tilt, Andrey Makarov made 24 saves to backstop Saskatoon to a 3-2 win over Regina. The victory ends the Blades’ two-game losing streak. Makarov has started 13 of the Blades’ 15 contests and has entered midway through the other two en route to compiling a 6-8-0 record with a 3.13 GAA and .897 save%. The Blades are back in action Friday at Kootenay.
