12/6 Recap: Quiet Thursday for Sabres trio

In Elitserien play, Linus Ullmark served as backup goaltender as MODO downed Vaxjo 5-2. It appears that Ullmark will continue to keep his top club role following MODO’s loan of Oscar Ahlsenfelt to Leksands. MODO battles Lulea on Saturday.

Justin Kea finished with an even rating as Saginaw was blanked by Sarnia 3-0. The Spirit host Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday.

Alex Lepkowski was plus-one as Barrie defeated Sudbury 5-2. Lepkowski has six assists and a plus-nine rating through 29 games for the Colts, who return to action Saturday versus Kingston.
