3/18 Recap: Ullmark stops the bleeding

Linus Ullmark came on in relief Monday, stopping 25 of 27 shots to settle things down as MODO edged Farjestads 5-4 in overtime. Ullmark, who entered the game trailing 2-0 just 3:09 into the opening period, has now earned victories in four of five appearances this season at the Elite League level. MODO trails the best-of-seven series 3-1 entering Wednesday’s game five.

    kris,how much of a jump was it for ullmark to go to the swedish elite league? and how much of a jump would it be to the ahl?

    I would venture to say that the jump from the SEL to the AHL really is not much of a jump at all. The SEL is some pretty good hockey.
