11/21 Recap: Zadorov shines for Russians

Nikita Zadorov made a splash in his return to junior hockey Thursday, netting three assists to lead Russia to a 5-2 victory over Team OHL in game three of the Subway Super Series. Zadorov came to life after a sluggish start, showing good reads, strong skating, and a solid physical game as the Russians earned the victory despite being outshot by a 43-22 margin. His heads-up plays in the middle period while on the penalty kill (one short-handed assist) showed signs of dominance that should lead to good things when he resumes his OHL career Friday versus Connor McDavid and the Erie Otters.
